*SCAM ALERT* neoBOX open source Focbox variant (HW 4 and HW6 Design)

I can do swapping jst the problem comes with crimping a cant do that if you paid me all the money in the world

When I try switching the sensor cables to jst ph 2.0 it is absolutely impossible

If need specific cable I can seeing if we can supplying. But not until after spring festival.

Right now we still making pcb. But aluminium case is still being prepare for CNC. It may not being ready until after spring festival.

If that’s your issue than just get pre crimped plugs, cut the old jst and solder the wires in the right order to the new and right sized jst plug.

If you also can’t do that I refer to my first point - go and by a boosted :man_shrugging:
:joy:

So what we learn from it?
If you into diy, you should be skilled and/or clever enough to do such an easy task.
If you not, it’s probably not the right thing for you.

Or even better

If you’re not good enough to do something yourself pay someone else to do it for you

Who did you find to live your life then? Must have been pricey.

What exactly have you tried and how that failed?

I got myself the Engineer PA-09 pliers based on recommendations from multiple sources. I can crimp pretty much any JST with them and I’m clumsy as hell. I have even done the tiny JST-ZH a few times. If I can do it, you can do it too. Come on.

Just bought these! Glad to get a personal good review. I’m so tired of mucking around with random jst cable types.

Jeff, is there anyway you can get them out sooner, closer to the festival… possibly offer the cases separate from the esc, or as two different versions (esc with aluminum case ‘upgrade’) and one that is the (basic esc only) to get the escs that have been produced shipped out faster.
An aluminum case is nice, but probably can be offered later… I don’t think the actual esc production should be halted for the specialty red pill / blue pill container that houses the esc. :man_shrugging::eyes:

Dude, this is all happening at light speed already. Let’s not put undue pressure on Jeff.

for what purpose? are you one of the testers?

the aluminum case acts as a heat sync and should be used during testing.

I don’t mean to give off that vibe, he was just sayin that the shipping would be hauled due to the cnc of the pill cases

I’m not a tester, no

I just don’t want the production to drag on as project seem to easily do… before you know it they won’t ship for 6 months
I’m not trying to pressure him, just offer an idea
