*SCAM ALERT* neoBOX open source Focbox variant (HW 4 and HW6 Design)

You should wait for the paypal problem to seetle down before doing anything

You just have to wait a bit
And you still have 6 months to open a dispute

I think the issue is after all the lies, can we trust that there is testing even happening? I have faith in Jeff to deliver but I would have more faith if we got more frequent updates and photos. Shouldn’t be too hard to do that right? It would also give more credibility, transparency, and trust for Jeff/Neo too

As far as disputes goes, I would say if you’re not at the end of your dispute period, to wait as cluttering up his account with disputes only hinders

this, me too. It’s not hard to take a fucking photo. He also hasn’t even tried to explain anything, despite I understand there’s a language barrier.

Yes, more than a few if us have been putting miles on these and reporting in the telegram, Google form, and summarized thoughts so far in the neobox threads.

Sorry you misunderstood me (my fault, wasn’t clear). I meant Jeff’s QC improvements and testing in house, not by riders. Also as mentioned above, production started before all testers received their devices

God damnit. Well, if he still delivers from here, that makes him a bit more than a stand up guy… still though,

:man_facepalming::man_facepalming::man_facepalming:

I got so much I want to say but it’s all been said before…

I hope he recovers from these PayPal mark downs… imo these are some of the most promising simple, cheap, relatively (minus a few beta QC issues) good quality drop in focbox replacement ESCs… V6 of which i’d happily keep riding till they die.

I guess it’s awaiting game for now.

Right now if we are at the point that Jeff isn’t Jed

Then I get that he might have lied etc…

But come on just wait this one
He has delivered so far and there is no reason to suggest he won’t continue to do so
By freezing his pp your just gonna end up making the situation worse by making it he can’t actually deliver the product and we will lose a valuable vendor
Cut a teeny teeny bit of slack for the guy

who here has actually filed a paypal dispute?

i get that a barrage of disputes will cause him issues (especially if he’s drained the account for more than the value of the chargebacks), but i wonder if there can be some independent verification of this

it sure would be odd if nobody here actually had filed a dispute

You just gave birth to a new conspiracy theory :stuck_out_tongue:

two confirmed in the neohubs thread where all the drama went down
(one of which disputed twice)
kook on this thread.

Cant remember but maybe 1 more on the neohubs thread?

4+ disputes within a span of less than a week for $300+ usd payments would definitely trip paypals auto flag/fraud prevention system

@kook I thought you emailed for a refund instead of going through with a chargeback?

did the person who disputed twice have two separate orders? (that makes sense)

I thought @Brenternet cancelled it:

The only one who i felt was sending a message was brenternet and it looks like he cancelled them. Everyone else seemed to fear getting scammed by a dude caught in a lie. Lets not act as this came out of nowhere. It was the dipshit who lied that deserves your anger

lol thanks for the flag.

Doesn’t matter. Paypals “fraud prevention” algorithms will still factor that in. Even if a “human” was looking at it, 4+ disputes of high value purchases in the span of a week all of a sudden is sketch af.

I DID NOT FLAG YOU
