Look at this satisfactory battery, the skateboard’s battery life is a perfect upgrade.
I’m not exactly sure what this post is, but it looks like you’ve got a pretty decent build there. Your battery building looks pretty decent too, maybe using some older techniques
Are those Sony cells?
Board looks nice, I like the lighting on the helmet, also, welcome!
Thanks for Shutter Shock’s reply.
Yes, it uses Sony Cells.
This battery pack technology is not the best, because it’s not perfect in terms of waterproofing.
In the future, I will further upgrade. Compared with the cheap spot welder I used before, this time I really found the right spot welder for me. SW1 will be the tool I always accompany in the future, and I will DIY more beautiful boards and better battery packs.
The performance and price of DIY battery pack is more suitable than that of direct purchase, thank you
the sw-1 is a very good welder i cant wait til mines arrive its gonna see some big pack builds.
Around here, we need model numbers as well as brands.
That’s like saying “a Ford Car” when Ford makes many models of car, some big, some small, some expensive, and some cheap.
Your build looks really nice!
Yes, the Sequre SQ-SW1 is really a great spot welder.
Until then I had been using cheap spot welders, which were hot and didn’t weld well, and I was confused.
The SQ-SW1 gets rid of these problems completely. It’s really great. Congratulations on making a better battery pack with it.
Indeed and between me and u i love the look and the included welding pen far more then malectrics and kweld, although they are like the gold standard most ppl go for i just hate the design of them and lack of a pen i hate the probe wire setup.
This feels like an elaborate ad. Either way, nice board
I also have the same opinion. The spot welding needle of SQ-SW1 design can be replaced. Because of the spot welding of a large number of batteries, the welding needle will suffer from different degrees of wear.
In the case of serious wear, we must replace the new welding needles, otherwise the efficiency and effect will be affected.
This is something Malectrics and Kweld cannot do.
Sorry, I should not have put the link, otherwise it will have advertising cost, I delete the link and reply to the discussion again
Thanks for reminding me, I’m using Sony18650 VTC6 Cells.
So you’re saying, that a kweld or malectrics don’t have welding tips?
Mainflow gives you the wrong idea.
Welding Tips are also available at KWELD OR MALECTRICS, but the price is relatively high and the operation is not very easy. I am sorry to trouble you. I am looking forward to sharing with you.
I’m just messing with ya.
8€ for a set is not the end of the world. And they do hold up long. I’m on my first set of tips.
But every person should decide for themself, which spot welder fits their purpose.
Yea i got a weld needle grinder so i can make some probes last for a while.
Yes, the tools are still up to you, I share good tools, if the people who happen to need them see it, it may be useful to them.
That sounds great, but I don’t have such a machine.
