I just wonder if this would still work when it’s wet. Regular (sandpaper) grip is pretty good when wet, and @Sender’s glass frit and epoxy process makes a deck that’s about the same grip, wet or dry.

The griptape is grippy enough for powerslides and cruising, but they use a weak adhesive and it starts to peel around the edges after use. Source: I had it on a street deck.

One stupid idea all of sudden, what about sandpaper soles then? So your shoes grip your board instead of the contrary.
