Rough stuff compared to Foamies

Hello,

I just bought some Rough stuff 78A and I must admit I’m a bit disappointed.
My previous wheels were rubber and I find the Rough Stuff to be quite noisy and not smooth at all.
I thought they were just smaller “foamies”, but I suspect they are not as everyone seems to think the foamies are so great.
Maybe I’ve been too spoiled with the rubber wheels?

Anyone tried both foamies and rough stuff?

Cheers,
David

Sorry. Haven’t tried rough stuff. Internets says they are no bueno.

I really, really, really like my cloud wheels.
I would strongly recommend trying them out.

Rough stuff are very good on smooth surfaces. They suck on crappy pavements or worn out asphalt.
I didn’t test foamies. They have good feedback so far.

Rough stuff are a bit crappy. Many people not happy with them. Some say after a few Hundred miles they are better. Not much added advantage with them anyway.

foamies have exceptionaly good reviews

Read from here onwards

Those 110 wheels are shait, only plus side is that they are big and better in the rain. Have them on my board right now, no traction whatsoever.

They ride worse than my 90mm abecs, even over bumps.

Also i grinded the top layer off to get more contact.
