New 2 wheels in town
No remote, beautifull design
What d’you guys think?
Looks good at face value, but how does speed control work? I’m guessing like the eMicro One, it’s push assist only.
“Launching on Indiegogo”
I like the concept but they shouldn’t have called it a scooter, takes away from the innovation. Marketing
Now that front wheel is dope tho.
Getting a little tired of company’s launching things in there not innovators as it was intended for. If you really believe in you idea and company invest in it yourself
It’s just transferring the risk to the customer instead of the business, which also gives the business LESS INCENTIVE, not more, to deliver on promises.
If your idea is really good enough, an investor will take the role of indiegogo or crowdfunding.
Those that investors won’t touch, are for reasons…
Agree but investors are mainly interested in big market so business has to make promises (we will flood the world with our great products) difficult to fulfill in normal market (Uber, Wework…) and probably impossible in our complicated niche market (boosted).
In addition, investors might have others concerns in the new world…
I’m not a fan of 2 wheels boards (lack of maniability)and wonder if the kicktail is convenient enough to compensate…
You can be your own investor…
So I love the design and look of this board and i like the innovative steering geometry.
looking at the advertising i think this board is going to be awful but hopefully someone will be able to create a diy version with the same steering concept. Im keen to try one of these types of 2 wheel caster board as i think they could make a great fun cruzing board.
Definitely interesting but I am looking forward to something more like Speedboard instead of this.
The steering innovation is pretty neat - I wonder if it has speed wobble issues with the location of the steering moment. I would assume that the gyro forces of the wheel help though
Be interested to know what large diameter bearing(s) they’re using in the front wheel.
Some interesting things I wanted to share:
The guy looks like he is tight rope walking so unstable plus i get annoyed if my toes dont fit on a deck. You know your are out of good ideas when your kickstarter is a Razor ripoff.
yep , but that Razor thing is ugly as hell though
Designed for 8 years old and gullible parents it’s razors whole business model. Their electric skateboard has less power than a electric toothbrush. I wouldnt mind their adult size electric drift cart.
Speedboard looks like a better design.
So, just out of curiosity I registered for a 30% discount when it’s lanched.
I just received the discount which is 500$ !!
I let you do the math to the final price, it’s expensive
Paint me sceptical we have seen remoteless esk8 for years and all of them have been useless as chainmail condoms. May buy a speedboard as some point.
Let me borrow this one from you, I love it
Fabi reviewed a prototype unit. Seems very unstable.
