Well Jeff, your neobox is linked to VESC-Tool so you canā€™t expect that there is no debate about the software side. You came up with forking the software and offering a separate download. That was not me.

Iā€™ve been wondering as of late if it would be worth just rebranding VESC for our own; i.e. replace all usages of VESC in the vesc tool with WESC, and then instead of calling our controllers ā€œbased on VESCā€ we can just say they are WESCs. WESC standing for ā€œVindicated Vedder Electronic Speed Controllerā€ :stuck_out_tongue:

Youā€™re saying this in Jeffā€™s thread, a guy whoā€™s working hard every day to provide us with better, cheaper alternatives to ESCs, integrated decks, and whatever else he has going on at the moment. Heā€™s even trying to figure out how we can get donations to Vedder.

I donā€™t think itā€™s Jeff who needs a lesson on playing fair.

I really enjoy this debate, and am somewhat of a fence sitter.

I admire your patience in sticking around here Frank and sharing what knowledge you choose toā€¦ however I do feel that you hold a lot back.

I donā€™t know enough about the finer points of all of this stuff to have a solid opinion, and I feel like itā€™s a bit of a witch hunt against you at times, but I also feel like you are kind of asking for it :sweat_smile:
