First of all that thing is a given horse. It is as it is.
Big words, until an alternative shows up thatās properly managed.
There are not so many guys who reach that level. I know that since even the biggest players have trouble to find someone like Benjamin Vedder.
Yet you see no problem with a single point of failure.
Well Jeff, your neobox is linked to VESC-Tool so you canāt expect that there is no debate about the software side. You came up with forking the software and offering a separate download. That was not me.
Iām just putting some stuff straight.
VESC-Project is Vedder!
You are on a public forum. People do not need to be asked. Iām out!
I vote for this stuff to be left in thread. Itās relevant.
I hope we see some fair play towards Vedder.
Iāve been wondering as of late if it would be worth just rebranding VESC for our own; i.e. replace all usages of VESC in the vesc tool with WESC, and then instead of calling our controllers ābased on VESCā we can just say they are WESCs. WESC standing for āVindicated Vedder Electronic Speed Controllerā
orig. poster asked you not to clutter this thread, instantly - you clutter the shit out of it
@Trampa no wonder people think your a dick at times
If you like to manage a software project and spend all your spare time on it, go ahead.
Youāre saying this in Jeffās thread, a guy whoās working hard every day to provide us with better, cheaper alternatives to ESCs, integrated decks, and whatever else he has going on at the moment. Heās even trying to figure out how we can get donations to Vedder.
I donāt think itās Jeff who needs a lesson on playing fair.
Lasted a whole 40 minutes
ā Smh
You can go to Vedders page and buy a donation version and/or https://vesc-project.com/donations
No need to figure out anything.
I really enjoy this debate, and am somewhat of a fence sitter.
I admire your patience in sticking around here Frank and sharing what knowledge you choose toā¦ however I do feel that you hold a lot back.
I donāt know enough about the finer points of all of this stuff to have a solid opinion, and I feel like itās a bit of a witch hunt against you at times, but I also feel like you are kind of asking for it
Debate away while I sit on the fence.
