I feel like afte Microsoft bought Github the quality of github hit rockbottomā¦ Like sometimes loading file takes longer then git checkout and opening locally but itās just my 2 cents

Iāve found the opposite, but Iām several hundred miles away from Microsoft HQ so it could be geographic.
Itās hard to deny GitHub isnāt intrinsically valuable to the developer & OS world at large. Projects like Yocto I couldnāt imagine wouldāve taken root without it.

In case anyone didnāt know, Linus Torvalds also authored Git originally. Which also speaks about those that would disparage it. Itās a useful tool, but it is purely a tool so how its used is entirely upon the users.
