this could be so many things but i’d start with your browser and extensions.
does this also occur if you use Firefox , or Opera like some maniacs @mmaner
e.g. Chrome uses way more resources than someone who is unfamiliar would expect.

I need a portable version of chrome, there used to be one, but its no longer supported. I am stuck using the portable version of Opera because of that. My shame is great

I have used fine glass on my boards for years and never had an issue.
Most likely medium frit? I realized that sandy shoes just eat fine frit.

Nah mine is fine frit. In the jar I have of it looks like it is just sand in a jar. I use it for all my push boards it is considered and 80 mesh.
For my eskate deck I used a mix of fine and medium
