I cruise at 50-65km/h and I often pull 55+km/h up 10% inclines. I’ve since then geared up my board so I pull sometimes up to 70km/h on some straight sections and this is just my work commute. Frank needs to keep up.
Edit: I didn’t go DIY to build boards with average speed of boosted.
Ah. I’ve done some faster runs with 20+km distance, I just usually don’t record any rides, just want to enjoy them On that board I’m running 200kV, 15-29, abec 107s, 12s8p.
@amanuelamanuel Nope, but it’s got evolve DPK trucks. I’m in the beginning of building a trampa MTB actually but it’s going to be geared much lower for steep mountain trails. Still gonna run 200kV motors though
Yeah that setup definitely explains your speeds.
I’m in favor of the more rocket like take offs.
Keep safe bruh.
53kmph is my max unless I go bigger wheels. I don’t really care to go any faster though.
I thought I did when I just started out but fastest I’ve done is 57kmph on a torque drive setup 97mm. That was fine for me. I don’t miss it.
I really missed faster take offs so belt drive it was.
