Had to do something to keep it submerged

I thought you were dyeing! Just want them all black?

Are you just using RIT? Ha

Yep, using the Rit synthetic ones. The wheels were already somewhat black. More like translucent gray, so i dyed them all black, hopefully it does absorb in well, i think i’ll leave it overnight.

Sorry but i dont get what’s up with transparent/translucent wheels

Round tube on that would be puncture city. It needs to follow the profile

I’m curious how that turns out. From what I’ve found it only needs to be warm-hot, nowhere near boiling. And the more dye the quicker to saturation (to a point).

Most my experience is in dying ABS/FG composite frames though, so ymmv

@moon the Prototipo is still one of my all time favorite decks. It’s a bit too flexy to be a pure speed deck for my gigantic ass, but it’s soooooo comfy and fun to carve on in the 15-25mph range.

7k+ miles on her too.

Wish I could all out on this build with custom everything but I think I will have to compromise…

One power button not enough for you?

This was a lazy ass decision that came back to haunt me in such “hilarious” ways. I learned what happens when one side of your high torque Carver starts cutting in/out at 20+mph, because your switch has started to rattle loose. Also the reason for my “NO = on” approach to the OSRR power button.

It only has one now.

This is gonna be a beautiful build, that deck looks like new. They must be riding in there living rooms back in Singapore, like it never saw the streets.

What material/finish do you use with your kits instead?
