So I’ve always wondered who all these people are. I know Morgan’s on there. I’m obviously on there. So who are all the rest of the mystery folks??

Lmao Hoyt is dead. I have no skin in the game. Just get annoyed at the way some people here whine and cry because they can’t make the entire industry change for them.

The only name on that list besides you and morgan that I recognize is @luastoned. Wish people would be more consistent with their screen names

Wait, so I can bike through the airport? I always see the port cops riding their bikes through the airport terminals and I get really jealous. You’re telling me I could have been doing that this whole time?

Well when you drop it it surely doesn’t full throttle randomly after checking to see if it works. That’s pretty big bonus to not fail in the most dangerous way possible. All broken remotes are bad - this is a good failure

Also just feeling feisty :kissing_heart:

Dude showed up to our pev ride (snr) on a two stroke 250 dirt bike, had plates and papers proudly proving it is a registered mobility device. This would be legal to ride through the airport.

Just saying

I also tried to spread the good word about personal electric vehicles to him, but he was not interested sadly.

They only prohibit wheeled vehicles. Time to come up with some great non-wheeled vehicles :smiling_imp:

Hexabot shoes, anyone??

This rule was 100% made directly for me.
I’ve been riding my onewheel to work every day for at least 6 years.

Some new power hungry woman hates me i guess. Never met the woman.

So now I’m the proud owner of a mini bmx.
I’ll ride fucking wheelies now bitch. You just created a menace!

I guess me specifying the puck 2 wasn’t clear enough?

Has the z more z switched to a hall sensor yet?

Update:

Looks like the Zmote has the same problem you’re making fun of the puck 1.0 for?

To be fair dude, you are a menace to society on your mono wheel…

The z mote was a Hall sensor when I got mine in Feb 2023

I think you’re wrong.
@rafaelinmissouri did your throttle position in vesc genuinely not match the throttle application or was it just a feeling you get when you lose the automatic return to center?

I was asking a question, or really making an observation based on what was written. I thought my interpretation of his words was reasonable.

Mine was just a physical problem with the Arm that brings it to center.

The trigger itself was true to the Vesc app.

Does that make sense?

The trigger worked.
It was doing weird stuff because the spring was loose…

Once I printed a new arm and shortened the spring the remote is working again.

I even rode it already.

Does the new arm also have a thin spot there?

I was letting you know that your observation was wrong. The puck 1 doesn’t seem to have issues with the return to center mechanism failing but does have issues with the physical throttle being at 0% while the vesc side reads 85% throttle. Like this:
(Potentiometer issues)

(This happened on my OG puck mid-ride after hopping off a curb with the puck in hand, it continued to apply choppy throttle until the remote was turned off)

The older z motes have an issue with the return to center mechanism but no issues with misunderstanding the physical throttle position like the OG puck.

Still having a precise control of throttle and brakes while losing the mechanical return to center has to be a safer failure mode than having a 75% margin of error for throttle position right?

I would not mind these parts in aluminum…

Im gonna do a batch in asa soon but also take an aluminum version. Wish there was a transparent asa or nylon6/12 for the main body too. My wishlist is ever growing and never satisfied

I really like ASA, it feels really durable.
