Got to this today, there are two options on the dropdown menu and backlight adjustment.

Starts showing both in blue, tapping makes them go black. Tapping the outSW cuts all voltage and amperage. Assuming that tapping auto stop toggles this on as well.

Let this sit for 20 minutes and it didn’t shut off. Toggled the auto stop to blue again and gonna give it 10 but it looks like this little 50w load is keeping it on? Or maybe the on state for the button is blue not black and it was on before and i turned it off so it wouldn’t turn off.

ooooh this seems promising!

I wonder what the trigger is for the shutoff. if it’s really 0mA, the feature isn’t very useful, but if it’s like 50-100mA, I’d be pretty happy with that.

It’s good to know the Out SW function does stop voltage, so the charger does have the capability.

Ok so blue means on, switched it to blue and left it on for 5 at 30w and it stayed on. Then i switched the bms off and that killed 100% of the measurable draw… and it turned off after 5 more minutes. The menu shows the outSW button black now (for off). So unless your battery charging tapers off to 0 it doesn’t look like it will toggle the auto off.

Maybe it’s my setup max charge voltage being less than the bms high voltage cut off that would terminate the charging by locking the fets preventing the cutoff by the charger. Maybe it’s just not effectively implemented. If it cut off at a custom threshold or had a lower range it could work

:disappointed:

Idk much about Lingyi ESC, but so far Hobbywing ESC had been very reliable. It just idk if you can get them separately for a build.

You have the same Guli charger that I have. As far as I know, when they finished charging they stop outoutting any power. Left mine plugged into my EUC for basically 24hrs with no problem, not recommend, I just forgot.

Probably if i was more patient it would keep tapering down until it turns off, just got impatient waiting on the trickle charge portion.

Yeah, when you’re out and about you shouldn’t wait for the trickle charge. As soon as the amps start ramping down a bit just unplug and keep riding, if you’re trying to get lotta miles in a day.

Do these sockets fall off easily, or are they stuck really hard on there?

Neither, they’re on sort of securely but come off pretty easily.

These phase wires look like a disaster waiting to happen… phase wires being all out in the open like that give me the heeby jeebies

More zip-ties?

Personally i’d change the mounting position of the motors, run the phase wires towards the hanger, along the hanger then up and around the deck so they’re not just waiting to get caught on the first obstruction that comes their way

Would be super easy to do as I haven’t used Loctite on anything yet. I’ll swap 'em around in the morning and secure the wires.

Lol you totally called it

No damage to the copper, just a slit silicone jacket, probably from a blackberry bush

Bummer.

I don’t understand why so many people run their phases like that. Its wild.

I have some nylon sheath coming in so that should help 'em out as well.

Street it’s fine, as long as it’s not too long. I don’t like mine to go above the deck though.

Maybe. In any case i think it looks balls
