I finished this thing up tried going for a ride. The stock cables ended up being just enough with my flat bracket.

I pushed up to speed, pressed the remote to accelerate a bit, and it started braking. Then I realised that I have the ESCs flipped over compared to standard config :laughing:

So the motors want to go the wrong way. I have to see if I can swap the two ESCs on the baseplate.

And also my flat bracket doesnā€™t actually have my rear truck pointing straight. I messed up when I drilled the holes on that with a hand drill. I can make new holes on a drill press soon though, that should be more accurate

Regarding the ESC. They actually hook up the correct motor, but the rear truck is inverted on that angled bracket and thatā€™s what messes the direction up.

To make this work I need a cable extender, because the cable is just long enough to reach - but on hard lean it starts putting a tiny bit of stress on the cable exit from the motor, so to be safe I need to extend it anyways. That gives me a good opportunity to swap over two phases per motor.

Do you have the manual? There is a bit about changing direction. Look for the pdf online, I can take pics for you later when Iā€™m home.

The xt60, mt60, mr60 all have 3.5 bullets. If it feels loose, gently spread the bullet ends with an exacto knife. Donā€™t let the connector inspector general know this, lol.

Nope. I bought it used and I didnā€™t get the manual.

I canā€™t find a pdf version of it either, I would really appreciate if you could take some pictures of it regarding this!

Good to know! Iā€™ll see how long it takes until I can get the connectors, if itā€™s more than a few days then I am going to harvest those bullets from some XT60s :laughing:

Whoa really? The app was broken for me and a few others and wouldnā€™t let you make an acct due to not being able to select the country. We had to get loaded to make a generic login.

Iā€™m not connected to the board right now so itā€™s only giving me a limited view on the app. Iā€™ll dig around when Iā€™m back from work if you canā€™t find it.

Itā€™s also broken for me. But for some reason it works on my friendā€™s phone. He made the account about an year ago

Watch out though if you donā€™t have an account.

When I connected without my account it locked down the speed to 20km/h for me. I had to use my friends phone to unlock it again.
