No, he wasnt using a Puck. He was using a beta unit OSRR which, for modularity reasons, has the radio connected to the main board via pin headers. Those pin headers worked themselves loose over time, causing faulty signals to be sent. A simple wrap of kapton tape solves the issue for any other OSRR beta units out there.
