Thanks! Today I need to finish routing out and sanding the bottom, and do the edges. Iām doing white on the edges, I think it looks good with everything. Might start doing up the hardware and finish the enclosure today too.
Difference in grip and traction, or difference in OCD level?
I personally feel like if itās not wet [or muddy?] it probably makes near zero difference. When it gets wet I bet a [possibly small] difference exists.
Awesome pic bro! Spend as much time as you can with her doing things like that!!
TIL thereās a Californian Redwood forest in Victoria.
Glad Iām not the only one. I learned that recently as well
In a national park nonetheless
Correct. Shock pads and bindings coming very soon
It looks super nice, how does it feel so far?
I wonder if it could be a fun jumper deck
I plan on doing some jumps. Nothing big. Pretty sure @Adstars was keen to get a few photos when i do.
And to me it feels great so far. I like where it kind of directs your feet. Once bindings go on and i can ride it properly Iāll get a better indication.
Victoria Canada or Victoria Australia?
Australia, mate.
Eh, close enough
Stunning build⦠My dude
Thanks, all of those models you make are amazing, what are you using?
Thank you
Iām using Blender
What is your cad software history?
My son is starting to get in to animation and I am a solidworks user so I thought blender would be a nice⦠blend moving forward for us both.
Iām in that āawestruck by all the buttons and toolsā phase still
As far as I know you canāt do proper CAD (for CNC) with blender
I am a 3D artist in the game industy and before Blender I used 3DS MAX
Both softs have pro and cons but blender is a powerfull al-in-one solution and is (infinitly) cheaper and so never looked back
Oh wow! Thank you, I will keep exploring and annoy you in the future with questions
