Dude that’s awesome! I had no idea that’s what you worked with.

My city hosts a big festival called Blink every year that utilizes a lot of that tech. They have a big glow parade the first night and I want to skate it with some bright lights.

Yup that’s it. If done properly it really looks awesome. I would love to visit that festival someday.

Did you need to work with different kinds of fabric for the enclosure?

I think the heavier stuff you use would be even more challenging than it already is. I’m also keen to hear what @EreTroN used

Thanks for the kind words

Actually no. It’s the same fabric I use for the deck. It has just the right amount of elasticity to compensate for the curvature of the enclosure.

What helped a lot is that I applied the first layer of epoxy than let it cure for 4-5 hours to be really really thick and then put the fabric on, so the epoxy beneath acted more as a glue.

What material is it? Its rather shiny, I dig it.

I have no idea what’s the name of it… It’s fully synthetic… But the colors really pop once you saturate it with epoxy

This is filter free photo… It’s as is in real life

i was using the wand but got water in it again so switched to the ubox remote. i updated the firmware over Bluetooth but then the ubox remote and Bluetooth didn’t work. plugged into my pc updated the firmware again, started to run detection and we got a pop, bright blue light ,big old fire and smoke. took it apart while it was still hot to the touch and found a mosfet had nuked a hole through the power stage

Did you try turning it off and then on again?
