Not me anymore! Old mate Danny is in charge of distribution these days, and he’s doing a great job :call_me_hand:

I made it a bit too quick… Definitely needs a helmet. Or a roll cage

Not sure what methods of mold release you tried…
First thought is hit it with tons of vibration, not sure the viscosity or setup time.
Was it super waxed?

TEST ON SMALLER SCALE IS WHAT i AM ALSO THINKING.
OOPS CAPS.

Been eyeing them, how do you like?

Pretty sure he changed/refined a bunch of stuff for the production units, but I love the look, reminds me of a countach. They’re sooo wide, my Kenda’s are stretched to the point they’re about 185mm tall at 50PSI. So I’m probably going to swap to fatty’s. Bead seat is perfect so the tires center super well. Bearing c-c was undersized slightly for the lacroix axles, so I had to make some spacers that are setup a little weird due to the belt pulley alignment. But gear drives incoming, so I might thread the axles further and shorten them to account for that.

waxed and mold release coating (PVA)

PU foam is just too weak to survive demolding as the side walls are quite steep. Next test is with a layer of fiber glass in between.

The release layer was my exact thought but would near ruin the detail. Need a happy medium!
