Wait really?

I thought 88 wheels like an old longboarding company

Yep, new venture together for them

That’s a shame. The 80mm, wide ones looked like a possibility

Yeah, it’s disappointing.

Shoutout to the artist hybycozo who I believe made the sculptures in the background of that pic. Nice skis btw.

It is called an external fixator, I was hit from behind on my motorcycle at age 20 ,at a stoplight I was doing zero, he was drunk in an old cougar doing 25, trust me you do not ever want to have your fingers pretty much touching you elbow on the same arm, I do not recommend YMMV. I wore it for 9 months, partially because I lived in my car and ate top ramen and tuna fish I had no parents, I was tending bar in New Orleans for cash,so no disability, the drinking age was still 18, I tended bar starting at 16 as I was full grown and jacked,no one cared I was imancipated so legally adult, I could throw people out easily so I was hired… They did the surgery at charity hospital because it was such a learning experience for the surgery interns. I have a lot of stainless in my wrist still. I have no real extension (a wrist no go up) the steel sandwich in side limits my mobility. All in all they did a great job. Still hurts if whacked. I’m teaching my 6’5ā€ son who just ā€œcame outā€ Muay Thai, he isn’t as flexible as me so his head kicks come hard, I blocked one a few months ago with that arm, next time I’ll just eat the head kick, man it HURT!!!

I have recycling value built in, my kids will build a small structure from my ashes .
the worst part is the free floating little pin in the middle,it got caught on everything! Hard to keep clean living in a Pontiac sunbird, what a POS that car ,it was a caricature of its self

They took thos screws out with a Hand crack drill, one of the interns passed out when the little bits of bone Curley cues started coming off, oddly it didn’t hurt per se, but was a very odd feeling. Ok well it hurt but not as bad as you would think, plus my pain tolerance had been adjusted, no cash = no pain pills, I got what they sent me ā€œhomeā€ with, if it doesn’t kill you it adds recycling value

Mad respect. I can’t stand gruesome things like that. Hell just getting a blood test is cringe.

I’m one of those people who has never broken a bone or sprained an articulation lol

I hope you keep that streak going

I’m OK with some pretty nasty medical shit. I prepped cadavers for incoming anatomy and physiology students in college for example.

Wifey had to get her blood drawn yesterday and I woke up on the floor for the first time :joy:

I try to get my kids to watch injections as it desensitizes you after a bit. When they were going to remove the softball cyst from my hip from my crash ,I asked if I could watch, my suergon said ā€œum no! I think we will put you out after allā€, then I crashed and burst it 3 days before the surgery complicating things🤬. hey they say do what you are good at I’m good a fucking shit up and making life harder, it is a gift

I’m 100% fine with injections.

It’s the intravenous removal that bothers me. They had to have taken close to 40 mL out
