Mixed reviews on the folding props. They are balanced really well and less prone to prop wash. They also don’t break as easily in a crash or when using turtlemode. And of course they have a significantly smaller footprint when you need to store the quad.

The things I don’t like about them is that they are slightly heavier and the hubs can rupture midflight without any notice. It’s unnecessary complexity for me, since I mostly fly long range. The other thing I don’t like is having to assemble them. They may be worth trying again in a few years if there continues to be product development.

Its a poastmote. Definitely my favorite puck shell.

Buttons printed in clear and black to eliminate the need for all the holes in the case

Petg, prusaslicer has a neat option to stop the print at whatever layer you want to change the filament so i just used that.

The black doesn’t seem to flow as well as the clear, so i had to bump up the flow by 10% at the change, but not a big deal

I still got love for the PPB. Don’t fret now

What width are those hangers? Looks very very similar to the build I’m going to do lol

Probably 184s since he got dual 6354s on there

The most expensive drive ever taken

I think those are the 170mm hangers

correct.

they are 170s.

I asked Kevin a while back to make them special.

using the boardnamics pulleys with the 184s left some space in between the motors and kind of drove me crazy…

so Kevin made me these 170s that are a perfect fit for 6354 motors.

there are a few pictures here that show the minor difference…

but I really think 170 should be the standard… @Boardnamics

Can you freestyle them or would they fold during flight ?

You can definitely freestyle them. No issues with air mode or being inverted. Can’t even tell a difference to be honest.

I’ll take em

Best tools i ever had for Esk8.
