I guarantee you these wheels are heavier lol
Each wheel without a pulley is 1.5lbs
But yeah, he said hills so that makes sense, hills suck battery no matter the wheel. Iāve gotten over 35wh/mi riding my bergs on hills
Yeah they weigh a fuckton, its basically a big lump of aluminium. A cool looking one though.

What bushings are you using ? I have orangatang nipples on mine because I didnt know riptide existed when I built it.

Idk really, I threw in what I had lying around as a placeholder for now. The bushings the surf rodz came with were way to mushy for me. Some riptides are planned, but not right now. This board ate a lot of money 
they go bald fast?
Not quite, the motor cables prevent the back wheels from touching the ground. But I could angle them forward, then it would qualify as a ultra board. But I quite like the hot rod look of the cables sticking upwards, I think Iāll keep it that way for now. 
Iāve lost about 1.2mm of diameter on the rear wheels over 130 miles
Thatās partly from doing burnouts on dirt and stuff
The fronts look pretty new still. Saw a pic on instagram of someone with them at like 2k miles or so though which was nuts

is because they only sent 4x one side of wheels to me, and there is no way to just buy 4x the other side
technically that John guy didnāt even reply me after i sent him the video proof that it doesnāt fit

if u ever need replacement wheel, i can send it to u for free, along with the 2 sets of pulleys
its only meant for either left or right side, but a wheel is a wheel if u donāt mind the rim rotation pattern

i didnāt pay for them, and i didnāt even know i was gonna receive a set in the first place.
that john guy PM and ask a few questions, then i send him a pic of all the boards that i have.
he asked for my address and thatās it. after 2months or so, i got 3 parcels containing, a set of wrong wheels, two sets of pulleys all in 3 different parcels 
pulley didnāt fit, asked john, he said need some videos, i sent, never heard back.
