I was planning to but discovered a company called āalphagvrdā that make camera/lenses skin with 3M vinyls. I asked their main branch in Asia if they could make me a custom combo, they loved the idea and delivered this one-off for my camera and a few lenses. I donāt know if they usually accept custom orders thought.
Why do we have such expensive hobbies ? R6 looks great too ! You already got some Canon lenses I guess ?

Ugh I know itās a constant problem.
I have some canon lenses but for crop sensor, so I will need to probably buy two new ones. Main reasons for the R6 over anything else is because itās pretty much the best camera on the market right now for the money.
$2500 for the body, and itās bettery in nearly every way compared to the Sony offerings. Not sure how familiar you are with its performance but it is truly impressive.

Yea for the money I share your opinion on the R6. The better Sony models are too costly and the A7iv is taking its time to hit the market.
Iām glad Sony now have some competitions in the Hybrid camera market, monopoly is only good for companies.

Maybe the a7IV will bring us the combo of the A7S3 and the A7R3 that we want. Iāve been a Canon user for almost 10 years now so Iām comfortable continuing to support Canon. In addition, the RF and EF glass are still some of the best on the market

No doubt, 60D+ is a better ESC in every regard. Thatās an easy choice to make since JayPo decided to hike up prices during this chip shortage.

I have the cutoffs set super high. Thermal start at 95 and untouchable hard cutoff. Melt it away while I ride into the sunset.

Thatās always the very end of my ride after about an hour of pushing it so I try not to let it happen for too long. Summer definitely has had a big effect on it.

To their point, that carbon looks absolutely nutsā¦ in that photo could be forged? I doubt it but their carbon has always been great and having owned one and my brother currently owns one canāt complainā¦ now about that priceā¦ they are absolutely insane. No way those specs even come close to that price in terms of parts or justification. Maybe if it was close to a gtr price then I could see it but a one piece carbon board and enclosure doesnāt justify that priceā¦ sorry evolve you have done it this time being as expensive as a lacroix
You ride a lot. When is it okay to ride half shell vs full face? Iām going to only be commuting at 15-20mph, max 25mph.

I go full face more when I know I will be going 25-30.
I think it is pretty rare I go much over 30.
so full face on those rides.
25-20 Iām probably going to go half shelf.
but it depends on the board.
with the mountain board I need to see down better and I donāt go past 25 so I prefer half shell.
same with the little kicktails. wanna see my feet.
in the winter the TSG is king because coldā¦
