Urban-suburban-rural cruiser, you pick. I’ve been riding on 6" pneumies for over two year with a bottom mounted 3D printed enclosure with no problems. I know what makes me happy, and a road carver or dirt trail cruiser suites me just fine, and that doesn’t require anything to be mounted to the top of the board and ruin the sleek look.

Is there a mirrored option for goofy riders?

no one version, there is full grip to the edges so should not be an issue

That’s a genius strategy… I’ll take it in account for my next build.

I mean top mounts aren’t the prettiest but I prefer having my battery safe, and to be honest, i kinda dig the badass look of it

They do that with clothes and shoes anyway

Sounds good to me

Top mount boxes can look really nice, and are way better thermally if the vesc can have the heatsink outside

Motors 63100 at 78°, vescs at 56°…

Isn’t that a speedboard ?

you going to make a DIY version or you are the creator/one of the creator?

2 wheel ā€œCastor boardsā€ existed long before speedboard.

Don’t know why they are not more popular, it would be good to see a few more DIY builds of these.

make a hole, tap the sucker, screw in and some heat

oh way it’s a screw shaft itself right ? F

or make a somewhat square hole so you can put a 3/8th driver (ratchet, breaker bar) in it

I’m tempted to weld to it and get it out that way

TBH I almost mentioned that option but didn’t know if you had a welder

just gonna have to make sure you don’t weld it to the truck

I’ve got a mig welder and a stick welder, my instincts tell me that the mig is the way to go for this one… thoughts @taz?

It will be interesting to say the least.

In the mean time, i have a set of BN220s with sk3s and venom magnums on them which are itching to be tried out…

DOable to say the least

both mig and stick works I guess

Edit: add a washer and tack it in place before the nut so you don’t solder where you don’t want to solder
