aaaaah yes the good ol’ planetary system it’s rare to see those in smaller sized parts, they’re usually in much bigger and stronger machines like excavators, bulldozers, tanks, etc (most if not all tracked machines)

It was a pretty compact system tbh. With more gear makers going all metal, I’d love to see a diy option. The gear ratios are nice.

how’s the enclosure clearance?
with 85mm and 50" Paris (they had the tallest ride height i could find) its good, doing hard turns and it doesn’t touch the ground, really loving how much it coasts and being much lower.
I’ve just taken it apart to try and isolate a vibration, i’ll measure the clearance when it’s back together
