They actually were a lifesaver in this case. The fit is super tight. I also had some countersunk head M4 bolts in the correct length but the head diameter is a hair larger and they just didn’t fit.

I just fixed 2 remotes with problems.

they wires hadn’t failed but I repaired them anyway.
they had the dirty pots though:

I just can’t justify spending $5 on shipping whenever I need a specific bolt so I have to do with whatever the nearby hardware store has. This is how I got these long ago. Much better having them than not having anything at all, especially since it’s like 5 screwdriver turns to get them in.

For liquids, obviously. Everyone knows that.

For dry goods, simply use the Fourth Revised Charles Helck Conversion System. For most dry goods it just means that twenty-three sixty-fourths of an elbow-chariot is equal to a bushel-knuckle. Unless the dry goods are cereal grains, when it’s simply two-sevenths more. And obviously in the UK you have the bushel-knuckle adjustment system where on cloudy days you pack them nine-thirteenths as full to make up for the lack of sunlight. Everyone knows that.

This system is so good, it’s gotten us to the moon and back.

…and this is coming from someone in the USA. I can only imagine what other countries see.
