Isn’t the “warranty void” sticker a bit against the flow of “right to repair”, which is where most electronics are trending for eco & consumer friendly reasons?

My understanding is that this kind of thing isn’t actually enforceable in the United States, either.

You can repair if you want to.
On the other hand we need to make sure that the devices were not opened up before a warranty claim. People managed to take out the heat pad, blew things up via short and then claimed warranty…

These stickers actually violate federal law in the United States, so I was surprised to see the inclusion.

I understand the challenges of users dealing with hardware outside of their skill level, but all the same this feels a bit regressive. Not that you asked for my 2c but there it is. Cheers!
