3rd time trying an DRV swap and 1st time successfully done!
the issue is the massive heat sink on the bottom of the IC, so you can’t just start by soldering its legs on the pcb, you have to heat up the bottom pad, and apply the drv while holding the hot air on top of it, after that you can solder its legs.
