should not be, just power on both receiver at the same time, and then turn on the remote and let it connect, it should connect to two receivers at the same time. i did that once by accident, that’s how i found out 
but both of mine were wired as ppm mode in the receiver side, so i don’t know if it will work if u mix and match or use it in uart mode
