Recommended Pneumatics for range?

What pneumatics do you recommend for range? Currently I’m running Mad105’s and get about 19 wh/mi. I’m thinking of switching to a small diameter set of pneumatic that won’t impact my range too much. Any recommendations?

the smaller the better… since you’re already running kegel pullies, you could try the @hoytskate kegel rims + 5 inch tires

Yeah even 6 inch tires could put you at 28 wh/mi plus

Hoyt 5 I haven’t tested yet but they def will suck up more than Mads. Mads are very efficient

Hoyt 5" are fantastic tires, but they are the least efficient tires I have used, due to their soft compound, and low air volume making them ride quite soft (and comfortably) at 30-40 psi. I heard the newest run is a harder compound, so this may have improved a bit recently.

If you want efficient pneumatics, choose any 6-8" road tire and then run them at 40-50 psi.

I get good range on the bkb tires. Ordered my second set a few weeks back. I think it’s because of the stiff sidewalls.
