Rear top boxes discussion

I’m currently trying to spec out a future mountain board build and I’m trying to decide the pros + cons between bottom battery, top box (centered), top box (Rear)

This build will be a long range distance board with some gravel/dirt bike trails and not a full on “off-road” build. I prefer not to have a centered top mount board because I like the feet space and the ability to change my stance. And a bottom mount battery would be more space limited to build and enclosure.

And then I discovered that rear top mount boxes are a possibility. (Similar to some of the trampa boards)

Does anyone here have a rear mounted top box?
I am mainly concerned about the weight distribution balance of the board with a huge battery on the back. (I am planning ~2000wh battery pack). I don’t mind that it “looks weird”. And it seems like the best of both worlds on paper.

Any insight is appreciated.
Thanks!

I am considering something like this for a pneumatic drop down - drop through board since I’ll have little ground clearance without an enclosure. Thinking a small ammo box or something bolted to the rear truck, possibly with a slight angle to mimic the Trampa boxes mounted on a MTB deck. Weight distribution concerns me ever so slightly not much.

I was hesitating too because it looks much cleaner to have it at the back, but i read that having additional weight in the back causes speed wobbles and is hard to tune the bushing to that without compromising turnability. It depends how big of a battery (weight wise) you want to put back there
