Rayne Demonseed 42" how flexible is it?

I wonder if this deck flexes a little bit or is it rock solid as the LY Evo?

Hope I could get an insight from owners/builders

Well.
I think of it as pretty stiff.
I have never stood on an Evo to be able to compare.

But it is 10 plies. Looks super thick.

Most everything has some give for me since I am on the heavy side at 230 lbs.

I’ll try to make a little video.

See if you can tell anything from this.

The enclosure is not bolted on the Demonseed just had a couple bolts holding it in place.

I really think the Demonseed is pretty stiff.
But I am not certain I could say rock solid.

It has slight flex, but nowhere near enough to need a segmented enclosure. I would regard it as a stiff deck

The 44" is very, very stiff but not rock solid. It does flex a tiny, tiny bit.

I’m 220lb (100kg) for reference.

All the 42 demonseeds are out of stock! Any idea if they are discontinued? Trying to make a build off one. Also @eBoosted, are you able to make a bottom mounted enclosure that can fit a flat pack thats about 2.5 inches thick? Odd questions I know…

They already discontinued the 44, seems like a logical next step :frowning:

Such nice decks too.

I wish the truck mounting holes were 12mm further apart on each end though.

Ya, I figured as much. But man, why dc if they’re so good?! I’m sure they’re still selling well. Next best thing is the red ember but I was hoping to get a deck with a 0.75 inch drop instead of a whole inch to save some clearance on the enclosure.

Here’s one that’s in stock but of course the price is jacked up. Might go red ember for that price
