Its not about raptors. Its about lithium batteries.
The packs in those boards were built to a pretty low standard to start with.
Given it’s condition that you have explained to us, our best advice would be to dispose of the pack appropriately and get a new one.
Probably, since no same battery builder would want anything to do with you.

This battery will completely stop working soon and it’ll strand you somewhere, but you don’t seem to be great in the logic department

Dude. Lithium batteries have a cycle life. They are a consumable item. Considering your board is close to 5yrs old, i’d say it’s done pretty well.
You’re literally playing with fire by continuing to use that battery.
Look up lithium battery fires on youtube. Its fun.
