I have been using red and tacky grease on some of my bearing seats to prevent clicking.
Not on my SR125s. But on a few other hubs and I think it helps.

I spent some time today installing these on my Mboard Endurance and found the bearings were not securely resting on the axle. I’m not sure about the technical explanation, but even after tightening the nut, the wheel still had some play and rattled. I’m going to revisit the steps I took, hoping I didn’t damage the bearing seat during installation.
I went with the short axle setup, used some blue Loctite on the bearing seats.
Anyone happen to know the length of the internal spacer for SR125 wheels—the spacer that sits between the bearings?
I’m running the bearings in the closest position and hoping to avoid removing the bearings since they are in pretty tight.
22.4 and 15.4mm for long and short spacer.
7mm for the red outer race spacer.
I really think the different bearing positions is a nice added feature.
The flexibility was really helpful when I was setting up my board.
You are awesome, thank you! ![]()
Is the 22mm bearing durable enough given there’s also one 28mm? ![]()
The reason we never did Kegel core in the first place was because we were killing skate bearings all the time, and the 10x22x6 bearings were even worse.
A hybrid approach puts a big bearing in the center of the wheel where all the leverage is, and the 22mm seat enables the Kegel pattern.
For 10mm axles, now we have nice 10x22x8 bearings that are really durable so that’s also no longer an issue.
Is there more information about these anywhere?

The O-ring system looks awesome!
…….the best
I have to really give credit to Radium for taking this on, this could have been a simple “sorry we don’t do 22mm since it’s unable to handle the load”. But to make both parties happy and come up with a new solution of hybrid bearning setup is just great to see. My set is hopefully flying across the ocean now and excited to see how the o-ring method works out.
Thanks mate. It was quite tricky to arrive at this solution, and I had many many attempts at designing different cores that felt like a compromise, until it suddenly clicked that the Kegel pattern doesn’t require both bearings to be 22mm. And now it seems like the obvious solution.
Do these work for the evolve Bros?
Yes bro !!! Mais Evolve is a dangerous skateboard, be careful!
