Yeah, the Mach 1 is a product that is so finely engineered that having it even for occasional use ( recreation or transportation ), is better than not having it at all. My second one sits there maintained and ready to go, and my primary use one is so reliable that I can almost loan the second one out without much worry, but I will still keep both because they are so ahead of their time in refinement, down to the precision RKP trucks, yes they are precise IMO. Hitting 35+ mph with loosely torqued kingpin, the board is so stable.
This is a niche market, and the lessons learned can be applied to something else, but for us skaters, there is nothing else that comes close to this kind of feeling. The best thing is that this board is turnkey by design and delivers everything promised and much more. Here’s to the new folks who have intersected with skating to take the leap and discover what the Mach One S is about, I am certain that those new customers will be very surprised in an extremely good way. For me I would like to commission an “over the top” Mach One someday, when they establish the means to develop and produce that super niche racing specific batch :hugs::blush:

It’s a fantasy but how about Dylan competing with his Mach One geared way the hell up to 89 mph against world class gravity Downhill Standup Skaters on short boards and them precision slalom trucks with torque blocks and foot stops:grin::grin:. He be able to ride right back up the hill while others are waiting to be lifted. Just a fantasy. I got some aero helmets on order and yeah, I’m pretty fascinated by the whole skateboard thing as many others here……

Downhill skaters are another breed.

I’ll be riding with Adrian Treimanis cruising at 40mph on a not great surface, and he’ll blast past me on his Raith with a speed delta between us that is more than most electric skaters feel comfortable to ride at on its own

He just ordered a Mach One S so I can’t wait for him to finally experience a whole new type of riding.

order ?

Lol how do i get in on this earlybird order

You’re not invited.

You’ve only owned a Genesis and a Mach One. It’s unfortunately not enough to receive an allocation.

@Tony_Stark what’s the lead time and cost for a custom set of 6465 ~170kv?

Wow! That was one hell of a backhanded complement and kinda disrespectful IMHO

Anyway, I’d love to see all of the “top racers” compete with only GT class boards, in the streets, and see how much race is in these dawgs

But why was it just tack welded? @MoeStooge

Maybe just conduct yourself with more grace? Its only been 10 years of disrespectful comments on this forum, especially towards other vendors, we’re all incredibly tired of having to read it.

Yeah it’s pretty exhausting at this point. I get so much confirmation of my issues with him in private from people who outwardly display themselves as his biggest fans

When you tig weld end to end of a piece, it creats a thin spot where the weld ends. By leaving material untouched on each end of the weld the tab end strength is stronger and eliminates chance of tab end cracking .

@JesseM to answer your question.
A tack weld would be a spot weld to hold two pieces together so they dont move while you perform a weld.
The weld in question measured 3/4" (19mm) in length.
Its job was controlling tortional load between the clamp collar and tab end. The tab end is constructed as a ring that is threaded and supprted arround the hanger.

On the new part the weld measures nearly 2" in length with no weld end point on the rod mounting tab side.

If you were ever track racing I would give you the same dignity and respect as i would anyone at the track. I would offer help if asked and or needed no matter who or what you rode.
My punches here are as always counter punches.
I think the vendors here are great. I think its important that people here defend their brand and stand up. Some people here are pretty overly sensitive. Nothing wrong with that.
Congrats again to Dylan and Radium to put things back on the point. That is what is truly great.

Did radium say something to you to trigger your backhanded comment?

So the guy that literally just waits for moments to trash SRB is all wound up over @MoeStooge saying that it’s impressive they won on a 2wd board with pivot cup RKPs, which in racing are kinda outdated? Are you gonna take a stance for all the 4wd boards he disrespected with his comment too lol? Pot calling the kettle black here. This is pretty dang light trash talk comparatively.

Wasn’t long ago everyone was saying how they wanted SRB boards in their own class in racing, that’s how far ahead they have been for a while now.
