I’m really tempted to put them on this one :sunglasses: . Battery clearance is going to be fine thanks to the sleek design of the Swedish dude :ok_hand:t2: I’ve been comparing the dimensions of your wheels (bearing seats) to the Rockstar2 hubs , they’re exactly the same so i should be good ! (?) Axle length of the Matrix2’s being no problem ?
It should look f&*king sexy i think

Ohhh yes can’t wait to see this!

You are spot on about the SR125 being the same as the MBS Rockstar hub dimensions.
Matrix 2 axle is the right length.

:sunglasses:Thank god there was the Xmas discount! :money_mouth_face: Because shipping was ehhh …“not cheap”

One comment; you guys should expand your payment options … The “Klarna” option did’nt work, the Apple pay did’nt work, and no Paypal which is always my first choice, and a lot of people with me, to pay when ordering online…
I believe the “Klarna” option did’nt work because during the transaction it states “will covert to … Australian Dollar”. It refused because of this in the last step after filling in all the data :grimacing: I’m guessing this goes for all European buyers , can’t just be me

Sorry to hear that Lex! That’s not ideal. We’ll see what we can do to increase payment options.

Paypal is evil and was removed as they were taking over 6% per transaction.

Not to mention their exchange rates…

As someone who is aware of how much paypal charges the vendor, I always pay with something else unless I am buying from a sketchy place or if Paypal is the only option

Removing it was probably the right call from your side. The davega guys used to do it like they give a 4% discount if you select credit card. Technically you cannot surcharge Paypal, but discounting everything else is a grey zone loophole. You might want to contact them about this solution if you are ever thinking of adding it back

I just pay directly with my Wise debit card which has favorable currency conversion :person_shrugging: Revolut also has a debit card I believe.

Wow guys, wheels have arrived ! That’s really fast, was’nt expecting them this soon :call_me_hand:t2: :call_me_hand:t2:

Before i go on with mounting these bad boys ; what’s the torque-setting on the 4 screws connecting the pulley to the wheel ?

The wheels are absolutely nuts… And also the box they came in makes you feel bad to just chuck away after mounting, a very luxurious bit of packaging. I’m binning it anyway but i just wanted to mention this

Here’s the result ; i still need to torque everything up after the re-adjusting (motormounts) , and am also waiting on Ali to deliver some 16mm wide motor-pulleys. I went on this evening to mount the wheels with the FLux 20mm wide motorpulleys because i couldnt wait to get them on. 16T is 16T , these on now being too wide but the settings will be good for when Ali comes to my doorstep.

Enough said:

Angled-end MTB style decks on these new SR125’s might be my new favorite esk8 aesthetic. Looks so good.

What a beau-freakin-tiful street carver setup. Close to pulling the trigger myself. Care to share how it rides compared to other big thanes (like MAD105s) and pneumatics?

I have been rebuilding my Proto and it should be good to go when the SR125’s arrive - if it isn’t, I’ll take a decent photo , put it on a Stand in the center of the Room, stare at it and just pretend it works . . .

Nah - I really can’t wait to try the wheels, I will give them every bad road in London but lots of great ones too

Looks freaking awesome!!
My plan of converting everyone’s wheelchair tire SUV’s back into skateboards is working  :smiling_imp:

I haven’t got one for you yet but I just nip them up reasonably tight with blue Loctite. The spring washers and nylon coated screws do a good job even without Loctite.

A sturdy box was necessary for shipping these so we couldn’t help but make it pretty while we were at it😁

Looking forward to your feedback after riding them :call_me_hand:
