I’d like that setting to be part of the ESC settings and not the remote/receiver
But who cares what I think I ain’t buying a non-vesc board. I don’t have the vesc reliability issues others do ![]()

I understand that Al style reverse is the new standard
heh?
Didn’t you say it’ll do a wheelie in reverse?
I remember Al getting his genesis board and the first thing he did was change the settings to full current in reverse
How is that even possible to wheelie a 2wd in reverse? ![]()
But no we are definitely not doing full current (boosted board faceplant) style reverse. Even Dylan prefers smart reverse. And now Al will have to live with it too.
How is this possible? It’s already for sale, I thought it was just registration for pre-orders.
You need to register interest in the presale on the website, i got an email a couple days ago with a link to preorder that indidn’t notice cos it was in the promotions folder
My misunderstanding, I must have misread. Will be adjustable or set value?
I’d love to have this be an option in the menu, I prefer every single board I ride to do that. Even my exway x1 max had that. But I am not your target audience. Board looks awesome as always, I just prefer building my own stuff from the ground up.
Makes doing slides so much easier. Gatekeepers will call it a crutch or talk shit but it’s fun
Will the receiver of this remote be compatible with vesc too? ![]()
Or do I need to throw money at you for puck 2 production pre-orders? ![]()
The Latvian eskaters are running out of pucks ![]()
P.S. A short ramp down time to neutral on signal loss sounds incredible, yes please!
Black deck, red anodized nuts, hard duro wheels here
I have a set of medium yellow label so I can swap between.
Nice one dude!!!
i’ll probably swap the medium wheels onto the og mach and run my hard wheels or urethane on the m1s.
Definitely keen to do some range test comparisons between the boards and between the m1s with rubber/urethane.
The difference in efficiency between rubber and urethane on the og is notable, expecting similar results!
I’d hazard a guess that m1s will stay mostly on urethane tho, it’ll be nice to have the choice of wheels without having to change them out!
I also have a set of CST 162 tires on MBS XL hubs that could be fun to try too ![]()
I’ve been wondering about the decision to move away from the puck to the new remote. Is this entirely a fresh design or using Linnpower with custom firmware?
Set value that I have tuned to what I think most people will like.
It won’t be, but I’m considering pushing the JK engineer/owner to make a Vesc receiver for it.
The Puck situation is not great. It’s looking like it may become extinct at this point with the factory MOQ to get more produced.
The remote electronics are designed by the JK ESC company, and Acedeck/Linnpower designed the remote housing. We have modified the firmware and increased the throttle spring tension but otherwise we don’t take the credit for this part.
Ugh, that’s too bad about the puck. I have a VX4 Pro that just feels mushy and slow.
That’s been my complaint about the Linnpower throttle feel, sounds like a good tuning option!
@robaf reminded me in the other Radium thread, but will the Radium app be compatible with the Mach One S?
