I don’t really worry about the drives, the stooge open gears are going to handle it just fine. The BN would also as I would be pushing the same amps as now, but too low ratio for 10" and it takes away axle length of which I desperately need as much as possible for the kart tires.
I don’t think it’s going to be too harsh on the bindings, as the planned chassis is about 50mm below axle, giving me 2x as much power steering effect as the V6. My worry is more so if it has too much power steering and I’d be forced to run higher ride height.

I love this build so much!! How much weight is one tyre with the hub? Maybe it is time to start working on torque vectoring

The tire 1140g, rim 505g, hub 196g, adapter 206g, hardware 104g in total, quad bearings (one of them double row) 93g.
So in total 2374g in theory. Add to this the 78T stooge gear and 5xM4 bolts to mount that.
Torque vectoring is coming for sure, although I probably don’t want to run it super aggressive given how much power steering standing 5cm below the axle would probably introduce. And a more aggressive torque vectoring will ultimately cause more heat generated in total, which might be an issue running so heavy wheels on reachers. Torque vectoring will probably wait until the summer? I’d love to implement it sooner, but doubt I’ll have enough spare time for this before the summer. We will see.

On the 300 hangers the current setup has decent clearance for wheelbite, that’s actually quite suprising. 33 degree, so max truck articulation in the picture.
I’d even say it might have just about enough clearance on 240 hangers. If not, it’s definitely close enough that I wouldn’t mind fixing it with a dremel.
There’s some chance this might appear at esk8con.
