Hi, I just wanted a quick advice about a battery-related matter.
I’ve got a Raptor 2.1 that is broken for 2-3 months now (surprise surprise). While I’ve been trying to deal with their support I kept the battery disconnected, at about 60% charge and was checking every now and then to confirm it remains at a decent level. Today all of a sudden it started measuring 0% ~12V.
Since I am measuring this directly from the battery, I can’t see how this can be anything else than the cells. I feel concerned leaving the pack at home while waiting for Enertion to reply (I haven’t gotten a reply from them for over a month, even though I keep bumping the ticket), so I wanted a second opinion about whether I should freak out and find the closest place to recycle it ASAP or maybe I am missing something.
I still don’t get how the battery could have gotten in that state in less than a month, while the output was disconnected -only the R2 BMS was connected, but would the BMS causing that level of discharge in a few weeks even be possible?
PS Does anyone happen to have any info about Enertion? Are they going under as some rumors at /r/ElectricSkateboarding have it? The radio silence on their forum as well as on their support system got me worried. If they are, finding parts for my R2 will probably be an arse
Thanks
