Pump track decks/Omakase alternatives

Never ridden a pump track before but I had fun chasing my son on his balance bike on the weekend. I got around it on my bustin eq but if I keep it up there’s not going to be much left of the enclosure. I know I could do risers and bigger wheels but I wouldn’t mind something new.

So I’m wanting to do a kicktail build, omakase is an obvious choice but it seems like theres already 5000 of them out there. Dinghy’s maybe a little short? Chinchiller or rally cat maybe? What good options are out there that offer a good standing platform and wheel/motor clearance?

This is what I plan on using for my pump track setup if I ever get around to it. Alva Power Station 10x36 with 20 inches of wheel base . Maybe extend the WB a bit and shorten the tail . Deck is pretty dang stout but I would probably add a layer or 2 of fiberglass because I’m a big guy.

I mocked it up using some BN210s and short BN motor mounts with Caguamas . Haven’t considered what enclosure might work but I’m sure 1/2 inch risers will be a must .

Nice, looks like a cool deck. Did you look into other options before you arrived at that one for any particular reason? I’m not really sure what makes the ideal pump track board.

No not really . Just like you I was considering the Omakase.

Went to the local pump track with my neighbor and I took my Evo but it’s a total low rider and the enclosure would have been wasted. He had several manual boards in his van I chose the one I was most comfortable on . It was a Creature deck with an old school shape and a longer wheel base and I really liked it . When we got home he went and grabbed the Alva and gave it to me to build a pump track eskate out of .

I’ve done minimal research but did find that my Alva and the Omakase are pretty similar as far as wheel base and width goes .
