When do you guys think it’s acceptable to do a “walk out” type of quitting from a job?
The best I can offer Chipotle is a week, and next week they only scheduled me for two days since I had another job that took up Mom, Thurs and Fri, as well as Tues and Weds being taken up by a dogsitting gig I got. Leaving only Saturday and Sunday as the only days I can be scheduled. I can only offer them a week because my Tech position starts the 14th and I don’t want to ask them to wait.
I get walking out is childish… But it’s chipotle, my managers a cunt, and the turnover rate for my supervisors ( the ones who actually see how I’m doing) is comically quick so using any of them as a reference is out of the question. I see no value that they can provide me in the future.
(And yeah, what if my tech job is shit and I want to go back to chipotle…? I doubt it’ll be bad enough to make me consider that.)
Aside from that the work environment is toxic as hell and I’m not sure going there twice more is worth it.
I get money is money, but blegh.
It’s either give em a week because I’m trying to be semi nice or just dip after my shift today because fuck em.

I’m reminiscing with final fantasy ix on Android. I bought a cheap little clip thing that attaches to my PS4 controller so I can sit on the bus and play it.
If anyone has a drought I can come round and put on my pads, gloves & helmet… 99% sure it will rain when I do

It is always acceptable to walk out of a job unless you can’t afford to, or want their reference later. You do not care if you can list Chipotle as a reference, so fuck em. Tell em if they schedule you on those days you won’t be there, and that that is not your problem. Restaurant jobs are a dime a dozen, especially right now, and it’s not like they’d give you two weeks if they fire you.
Also retroarch. I’ve been playing Majora’s mask all week. Bonus points if you have a controller to connect.

If there is no reference possibilities, you don’t want to be there, and don’t need the money, I don’t see an issue with not going back. Maybe let them know so they can schedule someone for your next shift.
Also, now I’m fucking hungry for Chipotle, weighed my barbacoa in at 2.2lb last time

Does anyone here have a pair of Cole Haan shoes?
How is the sizing between your Haans and other shoes you own? (I normally wear a size 11 w/ Nike shoes)
I bought a pair sized at 11.5, since the 12 felt like it was too much room up front, and after (literally) 5 minutes of walking my right heel is rubbed raw 
Im wondering if I should return them for the 12s or stick it out with duct tape and bandaids until they break in (apparently this is standard procedure, but it seems excessive to me?)

Yep lol. Apparently using these two things work well as a friction barrier to lessen the oofies on your heel until the leather of the shoe breaks in

I’ve never been fired before, nor have I gotten detention, I like keeping my record squeaky clean 
I don’t think my boss cared anyways. I didn’t let him know I was quitting until 3 hrs into my shift that I didn’t show up for yesterday. He just said “oh ok…” And I hung up
I’d do the same for this other job that I have 3 more days of work at but I feel like I owe my “talent finder” or whatever you want to call her at least some kind of respect
But if there is literally no consequence, why would you care? Its fun to be a cunt
