My shitkicker deck has picked up a wobble i cant solve, happens about 20km/h. It’s never done it before.

Ive changed all the wheels, tightened the bushings/loosened the bushings, checked motor config, changed belts… short of pulling it all out and rebuilding it i dunno where to look. Ideas?

Is something bent maybe?

Hasnt had any hits recently, im at a loss to explain.

while wobbles are nothing new for dkp its usually under much harder riding or hitting an unfriendly rock or somesuch, not through light acceleration.

u have TC on? could be one side is way tighter than another, so the roll isn’t even on both side? idk, hard to tell

u checked if the middle arm kingpin isn’t bent?

Maybe the bushings are just gone. Have you tried swapping them? Maybe for something harder, in case you picked up some weight. Other than something bent, maybe one of the motors is underperforming? Check if one gets hotter than the other, and do a fresh detect/setup.

Turn off one motor, and aside from the torquesteer, see if the wobble still exists. If it does or doesn’t can give you information.

No TC. Will strip down today and inspect.

I thought this last night, will swap out today

 nope, still under 90kg

Hadmt considered that. Nice one.

apparently house insurance doesnt cover fire from electric skateboards, and you cant buy insurance for DIY builds, kinda stuck in a loophole

This i think. I couldnt see anything bent so I swapped out the riptide for some older stock barrels and it’s gone.

New riptides ordered.

@Savage1 moving this here so as to not derail.

Could you clarify what you think I said that prevents radium from developing how he wants to?

If you think my question is just unnessecery/too dumb, and a waste of his time, I’m fine with that, but I’d rather you explain why that is so I can learn from it rather than you just telling me my question is dumb.

I’m just a little confused because I (like you) think this board looks fantastic and will ride fantastic as well, so I don’t understand where this conflict is coming from. Am I just out of touch?

Sorry, I meant no conflict at all. In my opinion, Liam is leading the way of future Eska8 development, and doing a fine job I might add.
My understanding is that he has put every $ he has made back into this development to perfect it. For me personally, to ask for more in the initial offering of such an already great product seems kinda lame.

I’m miss the the sk3 motors :disappointed:
Too bad it seems they don’t sell them anymore

Put up a WTB (want to buy) post. I guarantee you someone has a set they don’t need.

Big oofs. Blew up a DV6 Pro a couple weeks ago, replaced it with a DV4s.

Just blew up a motor. Having been through a few motors now, I have a bunch of mismatched singles and no matches.

Gonna have a flipsky motor WTT post tomorrow once I photo it all.

This sucks, I need to ride. On the plus side my D75 just got fixed and should be on it’s way back to me.

have lost one of those weird handscrew that holds the visor on my helmet (demon podium) is it anything standard ?

Broken windings on motor? What killed the DV6 pro?

Probably the motor, given his report here

The bearings on those are tiny. Newer skate motors are a lot more durable.

Honestly no clue. Just during one ride it decided to not give any feedback on any interface besides a single blue light. I probably fried the DRV.

And the motor just overheated from a dusty environment and coughed out smoke. Fused windings. Still motors but very badly.

Nope, the DV6P died a month before the motor. This motor died on the DV4s.
