Good on ya. The courage it took to post that is only equivalent to the pain it took. I’m glad he made it right, because I hate when people violate the community feel we have going.
What would it say about us if we ignored this or worse allegations that the post was a deflection from the drama. Is that possible, yeah but I really don’t think so. Would I want to find out I/ we were wrong? Fuck no let’s error on the side of being decent humans. Empathy is a rare quantity. In my country at least part of our issues is we are no longer our brothers keeper.

This was resolved and we found UPS to be the only bad actor here.

Not sure if this is helpful, but the way I have shipped to people on here is by having them set up the shipping through parcel monkey and sending me the shipping label. I don’t think it would be possible to get screwed over doing it this way since I’m not the one setting it up and they can choose the shipping option they want.

That’s a pretty good idea. The issue here was UPS tried to bill me without delivering the package, when they couldn’t reach me they charged @KaramQ out of nowhere and I had to find out about things and pay it back weeks later.

I got charge surprise on somehing i sent to canada.
i griped at shippo trying to understand how I can know what I’d be charged… they seem to say I couldn’t.
then they refunded me the import fees. this being the first time.

Yeah I don’t think they would have been able to even attempt to charge him if you’re the one generating the label.

The reason I made this post was that you were ghosting @KaramQ , and Karam was too nice of a guy to make a big deal over you sticking him with the import fees. You had weeks to make things right before I made this thread.
