In my humble opinion. German beer is overrated, it is good don’t get me wrong. But it’s just sort of the “standard”. Very boring often in my opinion. American Microbreweries have so much more variety and some true gems because of it. Also some true turds for the same reasons.
Like sam adams, just awful.
But then there’s Lady face brewery, just majestic stuff.

I usually go with yuengling as it’s the best tasting cheap beer that’s available everywhere near me.
I treat myself to Stella if I’m feeling fancy.
Kentucky bourbon barrel is good and strong too.
Dragonsmilk makes me feel cool when I order it.
Willing to drink any beer that doesn’t taste like potpourri really

I can agree to some point. It is a bit overrated but still awesome… I can recommend Karhu and Sandels from Finland 
Then there’s a couple local brewerys who got tge gems. More and more of these small brewerys are popping uo everywhere now. I’m excited!

I only drink beer if it’s cold. Except if there is no cold beer then I will drink it warm. And only in the AM or PM. And only on 7 days of the week.

Agreed, but there are some amazing US breweries and regions now. 10-15 years about would have completely agreed, but the landscape is different now. No monks brewing it for us, though.

Yup exactly. European beer used to be the end all be all. But american Microbreweries are doing some great stuff. None of them come close.to that “authentic” classic Bavarian ,but very few are trying to be that. So I would never say, one is better than the other. They aren’t really competing.
Damn i only drink on two occasions, when its weekend and when its not.

@torqueboards I know you’re shrugging this off like you do a lot of problems with your kit.
But, making light of a serious safety issue that has been kindly brought to your attention is not cool.
I get it that this thread has turned into a bit of a shitfight and dragged on.
But, making light of it now with glib comments makes you look like a cock.
Yes, we should all check our kit more than we do.
A bit like you need to pay more attention to quality control.
