ok, but let’s normalize this to the # of miles ridden to put it in perspective.
I haven’t been riding much. If I have 500 miles on my lacroix at $3,500, that is $7/mile.
How many miles has your board seen since 2021 summer?

This would be a really cool data point to see (if we actually kept track of all the upgrades and consumables we use along with accurate mileage)
I went all of 2022 & this far into 2023 with only changing tires and tubes on the board I finished in October of 2020.
Also, holy … I can’t believe I haven’t built a whole board since then aside from an easy loaded hub board
These aren’t original fitment screws though are they?
not as much, maybe 3,000?
nah, so that’sa me thing
that’s what i’m tryna figure out
I’m currently doing this with the features on the DAVEGA
i’ve tried my best to do all my logging stuff, but funny part is
i broke all my robos!
Sound like skill issue
Yep I’ve been doing it on davega too. So cool.
maybe just tell us what u didn’t break, the list might be shorter
worst part is looking upon your boxes of broken shit and realizing you can’t throw it out because it was expensive but also the fact no one will ever buy it because it’s fucked
the item that havent changed yet
(soon to be changed) battery box
hangers
deck was originally a 15ply, did a deck trade innn at some point
just don’t sleep
Open high power battry, handling metal components and sleep deprived!
hey don’t knock my ability to crackhead
i disassembled my old packs to rebuild them knto my 3d printed packs within 24 hours
there were 18 of them
Oh hi!
DIY is a disease…
anoter update!
we have melted brains on gear orientation and all that , but we got her all done, she’s backlashed and loctited!
also got my “new” baseplates, so we are now ballin with it
esc boxes are halfway done printing, so the next day or so is gonna be fun!
on that list
-refresh esc phase wires, shorten them up
-figure out bushings
-set for shfi, test it
-lighly coat the gears
alright!
i magically finished! (that’s what she said)
i am trying out shfi, and it’s real naice, real naice
i’m not a huge fan of my new bushing setup, it feels, not as responsive as my old setup, but tbf, i am in croccs (AWD mode too)
i got riding to be done tomorrow, will be testing how shfi handles the hills!
