Check your CAN bus connect. You try to read motor config from the slave vesc via master.
I was trying out my board and I noticed that whenever I don’t press the throttle all the way it keeps accelerating to top speed, only the accleration speed changes. Same with cruise control, i wiuld set a speed and it will only acclerate slower. Is there a setting vesc tool to change this?
This is normal behavior with the board unloaded.
It does the same when loaded tho
So if you go on a slight incline and slightly push the throttle, the board continues to accelerate until it hits top speed?
Yep, I’ve never hit top speed yet, but i can feel it acclerate without pushing the throttle.

Yeah, that is not normal.
Have you setup the remote in the app?
I think so. But i wasn’t sure whcih remote type to select, because i have it connected with UART, so it might not be set up properly.
I am not familiar with this remote but there are instructions on the Flipsky site. Have you followed them? (eg connect receiver after programming esc)
Also what vesc are you using?
I’m using the dual fsesc 6.6 mini size. I will have another look at Flipsky instructions, thanks for the help for now.
