Wheels, Pulleys, Etc.

Metroboard 72t pulleys - $̶2̶0̶ $15

Brand new. No bearings. Price is for both. Designed to press-fit in a Trampa/Sunmate/Metroboard SuperStar wheel. Fair warning, these take up a lot of axle space. Bearing face to bearing face is ~44mm.

Orangatang In-Heat 75mm wheels - $̶3̶0̶ $25

Gently used. 8mm bearings and spacers installed. No chunking or tearing. Never electrified, just pushed around for a hundred miles or so. Never slid.

Super super comfortable pushing wheel. Big contact patch. Largest wheel orangatang makes that doesnt have a core. That means they have a ton of super cushy thane, and a geometry that just eats up bumps and cracks. Treat your feet.

Safety Gear

Demon Knee Pads - $̶2̶5̶ $20

Size XL. I dont think Demon makes these anymore. They are super padded and very protective. Very comfy with secure straps. Only used a couple of times, no crashes, excellent condition. Not stinky or gross.

Helmet communicator - $̶1̶0̶ $5

Used, works. This is a cheap bluetooth helmet communicator for listening to music or taking calls while you’re riding. Only one earpiece, so I hope you like listening to music in mono.

Remotes

Mini 2.4ghz trigger remote - $̶1̶0̶ $5

Anyone who wants this already knows what it is. Looking at you, Brian.

Brand new. Receiver was installed (hence the hot glue) but never used. Free with the purchase of anything else.

Hardware

Bear Gen6 Grizzlies RKP Trucks - $̶2̶5̶ $20

Gently used, some scuffs and scrapes. Excellent pushing trucks. Grizzlies have awesome geometries, if you’ve never tried them. Great stability and agility at the same time.

Caliber TKP Trucks - $̶2̶0̶ $15

Brand new, in sealed bags. I dont know shit about these and I cant be bothered to look it up.

Battery Shit

EUC 24s Battery PCB/BMS - $̶2̶0̶ $10

Brand new. I dont know why you would want this. I dont know why I have this. But here we are.

These are Battery PCB/BMS boards for EUCs. My understanding is that these packs were the industry standard for a whole bunch of EUC models a year or two ago, before they all started doing like 69s or whatever. I dont know shit about EUC.

The BMS is populated directly to the PCB, so there’s no external BMS wiring needed. Price is for both PCBs.

SOLD

SOLD
MadWheels w/ Pulleys - $100

Brand new, test fit and rolled around on the floor but never used. Brand new 10mm bearings and precision spacer stackup in all wheels and pulleys.

The pulleys are the stock 40T nylon pulleys from Mad, with a PETG expander pressed on to make them 48T. Ive used this kind of pressed-on expander for hundreds of miles with no issue, but if you dont like them you can remove them with a flathead screw driver and some determination. Or a hammer and some luck (not recommended).

Hoyt 5in CNC Wheels w/ Pulleys - $100

Used. Great condition, only minor dings/scratches. Buy with tires/urethane inserts and i’ll install them for you.

Rockstar2 wheels - $30

Used, great condition. Painted with a metallic blue spray paint, which has held up surprisingly well over several thousand miles. Black underneath the paint. Comes with bolts, nuts, and bearings (which have seen some shit). No bearing spacers.

Buy these and the 8in tires, and i’ll install them for you.

Puck w/ receiver - $40

Used, works fine. Buttons are included, I found them and installed them after I took this pic. Receiver comes with JST-PH adapter. I’ve also got a JST-XH adapter for stormcore/unity if you want. Just let me know.

Two available. Take both for $75, less than buying one puck new.

eBoosted Universal Enclosure - $40

Pretty sure it’s this enclosure, but it might be the MKII that’s designed for 21700’s. I’ll measure next time I’m at my workshop. Fits decently well on a bustin sportster (not included). No mounting holes drilled, but its got phase wire and loop key holes drilled.

Red Davega - $100

Brand new, never used. Comes with a bunch of spare glass, gasket tape, a spare mainboard, wiring, etc. No clue how old this is, so i’m sure it will benefit from some software updates when you get it.

Blue Davega - $40

Used, still works but some issues, priced accordingly. Pretty dinged up and dirty. Painted with metallic blue spray paint. Raw metal under the paint. Got a 3dp gasket sealing it up, which is sealed on with RTV. One of the buttons is a little wonky. I think it still works, but you have to push it pretty far in.

I removed it from use a while ago because I was getting screen glitches occasionally. The telemetry and whatnot kept working, so I just ignored it until I removed it for maintenance and never got around to reinstalling it. Talking with Jan, he suspected the issue was either with the cable (it was run under my grip tape for thousands of miles) or with it needing a software update.

I never did either, so it’s likely that this thing will work fine with a new cable and software update :man_shrugging: The cable thats on it was cut (so I didnt have to peel my grip tape up), so you’ll need to install a new cable anyway.

BIGBEEMS aka Ryan lights - $40

Brand new, never used. Pack-voltage compatible headlights with high and low beams. Comes with mounts for hypertrucks, and a bunch of spare mount parts (not pictures). Specs are here

OG Robogotchi w/GPS #1 - $50

Used, works. As far as I know, the OG Robogotchi’s are still usable. I dont think they ever got updated to work with VESC FW6 and above, but if you’re still using FW5.3 or before (as god intended) then I think these should work. Comes with an x-thing that has mounting holes for the GPS module, if you want to mount it externally. I never found that necessary, but maybe you have a concrete enclosure or some shit.

Please dont ask me for setup or troubleshooting instructions for Freesk8 gear.

kWeld spot welder bundle - $200

Used, works. Everything you need to spot weld right away, no batteries required. Power supply plugs into the wall and powers the kCaps. kCaps power the kWeld. kWeld does the sparky sparky. I’m not a kWeld guy, please dont ask me questions about this shit.

Everthing brand new from keenlab is like $450 before shipping, so I’d say this is a bangin’ deal.

DISCLAIMER: BATTERY BUILDING IS A STUPID AND DANGEROUS THING TO DO, AND I RECOMMEND AVOIDING IT.

Flipsky 4.2 VESC - $20

Brand new in sealed bag. What you see is what you get.

Maytech VESCs - $20 each

Brand new. I have zero info about these, I have no idea what vesc version they’re based on or how usable they are with modern firmware. You’re on you’re own. $20 each or take both for $30.

Hoyt 5in tires with urethane airless inserts - $100 per set

This is something special I’ve been cooking up, that I need to make a thread about.

Are you tired of getting flats? Do you want to improve your range? Do you like the connection to the road of urethane, but the grip and comfort of pneumatics? Have you tried other airless tires and been disappointed?

Then look no further!

These are urethane inserts, made from a very soft 40A urethane. Much softer than even the softest 70A urethane wheels. The inserts are pressed into the tire and locked in by the friction of the hub, holding them securely even under extremely hard braking and acceleration (I’m 300lbs!).

They give you most of the benefits of urethane wheels (no flats, excellent connection to the road, great efficiency, low rolling resistance etc), as well as many of the benefits of pneumatics (all the grip of rubber, nearly the same comfort, size, safety in the rain, etc.). They’re also reusable, unlike tubes! When you wear out a set of tires, simply pop these inserts out and put them in your next set.

Never buy tubes again!

Price includes:

  • 4pcs urethane inserts, installed in…
  • 4 brand new tires
  • 3pcs m4x50mm screws to aid with install

Thats cheaper than buying a set of tires/tubes from hoyt, btw. Ive got two sets available, but I can make more if there’s demand.

Couple drawbacks to be aware of, for full disclosure:

These are noticeably less comfortable than pneumatics. Comparable to running Hoyt5’s at like 60psi. They dont eat up bumps and cracks the same way air does. They’ll still roll over everything just as well, but you’ll feel it more. That might be a pro for some people, and a con for other people. They’re not bouncy like a urethane wheel though, which I think is good.

They are slightly hard to install. Clamping the hub halves together on the tire is a challenge, which is what keeps the tire locked in place during use. That’s why I include longer bolts, so you can screw them together. Once they are together, you can replace the long bolts with the normal short ones, and use the long bolts to install the next wheel. On the bright side, you wont ever have to do this on the side of the road, because you’ll never get a flat again.

They are obvioulsy heavier than a pneumatic tube. Each insert weighs about 170g, vs like 25g for a tube. I dont notice the weight during use, but its something to be aware of.

Boardnamics GT3 Wheel captive nut inserts - $10

This is another Benjamin Original. Do you have boardnamics wheels? Are you annoyed that the nuts are not captive, and also that they are in a recessed pocket so they’re a huge pain to access with anything besides a socket? Well look no further!

These are laser-cut aluminum plates which slot perfectly into the recessed pocket on the wheels, and capture the m4 nut. Throw a drop of superglue on these and you now have wheels which can be serviced with just a single allen key. Leave your socket wrench at home!

I’ve got 1 set (20pcs) available, but I can make more if there is demand.

1/4in (6mm) riser pads - $1 each

Brand new. Squishy. I’ve got 8pcs, take them all for $5.

Flipsky BH 6368 190kv motor - $25

Used, unknown condition, priced accordingly. 10mm d-shaft. Shaft dimensions in the pics. Spins by hand fine, no weird sounds or feelings.

Robogotchi Pro w/GPS - $20

Used, unknown condition. I have no clue where the Robogotchi Pro project is at these days. These might not be usable at all. But if you’re still on the Freesk8 train, then here you go.

Please dont ask me for setup or troubleshooting instructions for Freesk8 gear.

Malectrics v3 spot welder bundle - $100

Used, works. Everything you need minus a battery. I recommend using a lead acid car battery rather than lipos, but you do you. Comes with standard probes, and the spring loaded welding pen for the perverts among us. I dont judge… much…

DISCLAIMER: BATTERY BUILDING IS A STUPID AND DANGEROUS THING TO DO, AND I RECOMMEND AVOIDING IT.

Hoyt 5in CNC Wheels - $50

Used. Pretty dinged up and dirty. One of the rims is very slightly bent, but it still mounts a tire fine and runs true. These things are pretty much unkillable.

No clue what you’re going to do without pulleys, which is why these are so cheap. This is the old V1 rim which does not have the kegel pattern like the new black rims, so you’ll have to figure out your own pulley solution. Good luck.

eBike 2-way Twist Throttle - $20

Brand new, never used. These are from that hummie group buy a while ago. They twist forward and backward, so you can set them up for throttle and regen braking, which is apparently not common for ebike throttles. Comes with extra grips for your handlebars.

Ive got 2pcs, price is for both.

LunaCycles 14s adjustable charger - $30

Used, works. Not much to say about this one. Its got an adjustable output for limiting charge for storage voltage or whatever. Here’s the specs if you’re curious.

Metroboard 153 tires w/ tubes - $20

Brand new. Price is for both.

SurfRods TKP Trucks - $25

Brand new, never used. Some scrapes from storage and test fitting.

Robogotchi Pro - no GPS - $15

Used, unknown condition. I have no clue where the Robogotchi Pro project is at these days. These might not be usable at all. But if you’re still on the Freesk8 train, then here you go.

Please dont ask me for setup or troubleshooting instructions for Freesk8 gear.

LaCroix Nazare SuperSport Battery PCB System - $30

Brand new. I dont know why you would want this. I dont know why I have this. But here we are.

Includes 3pcs PCB, all the cell frames for a single stack 18s4p, the nickel tabs, and screws. Does not include any of the wiring/connectors/BMS.

Maybe you do LaCroix repairs and want to have stock PCBs? Maybe you’re a LaCroix fetishist? Maybe you’re building an esk8 museum? I dunno buddy. Just buy the damn PCBs.

Bioboards Battery PCB w/ FlexiBMS kit - $50

Brand new. I dont know why you would want this. I dont know why I have this. But here we are.

Includes 2pcs PCB, a bunch of cell frames I cant be bothered to count, the nickel tabs, and hardware. The FlexiBMS is populated directly onto these PCBs, so there’s no external BMS wiring needed. I dont recall that working out super well for BioBoards, but what the fuck do I know.

Maybe you do BioBoard repairs and want to have stock PCBs? Maybe you’re a BioBoard fetishist? Maybe you’re building an esk8 museum? I dunno buddy. Just buy the damn PCBs. Price is for everything.

8in Shitsligner off-road tires w/ tubes - $30

Gently used, less than 100 miles. These are the hard rubber compound which is great for offroad grip, puncture resistance, and wear. Not 100% sure that all the tubes hold air, so consider this just the price of tires and any good tubes are a free bonus. Still cheaper than AliExpress, and much faster.

Hobbywing 14s ESC bundle - $50

Brand new, never used. I have basically zero information about this ESC. It was a sample of the latest gen high voltage Hobbywing esk8 ESCs from Meepo, from right before the 16s ESC that comes in the Monsoon. Supposedly high current (compared to the older 12s ESCs), and its certainly larger than your standard hobbywing.

No idea if this thing is usable in its current state, I’ve literally never tried. Comes with everything that it should need (remote, power button, antenna, etc.). Also comes with these cool phase+sensor wire connectors, but without having the other half to them they’re basically useless.

No clue who would want this, but if you want to tinker with it then here you go.

Hoyt 5in Tubes - $5 each

10pcs available, all brand new. Buy all 10pcs for $40 (~$4 per).

PuckPuckBruce w/ receiver - $̶6̶0̶ $50

Used, works fine. MJF nylon case. Pretty scratched, but no cracks. Receiver comes with JST-PH adapter. I’ve also got a JST-XH adapter for stormcore/unity if you want. Just let me know.

Comes with a standard nylon hoyt puck shell in case you dont like the PPB shell. No, you cant buy it without the PPB shell for cheaper.

Hoyt St Tabor - $2000

Very very sad to be selling this. This was my baby, the board that I was most directly involved with designing and building from the ground up during my time with Hoyt. But unfortunately I dont have space for it in my fleet anymore, and it’s not being ridden. So its time to go to a better home

No, I wont be parting this out. This is a steal of a price. If no one wants it complete, then I’ll just keep it.

Used, great condition, less than 500 miles. Everything works great. Price includes a like-new Puck, a 6amp charger, and 4 fresh tires/tubes (in case you dont like the urethane inserts). And the stock handle/bashguard/pulley caps in case you want those.

Price does not include shipping. Local pickup in Portland would save us both some headache, but I’m willing to figure out shipping to anywhere in the contiguous US. Cant fit this in a flat rate box, so feel free to ask me for a shipping estimate. Probably ~$200 including packaging material.

Specs/parts:

  • 12s8p P42A battery
  • Hoyt5 CNC wheels with urethane inserts (so no flats and crazy range)
  • 15:48 ratio belt drive
  • 6384 190kv motors
  • MakerX DV6Pro vesc, set to 95A per motor
  • Proven 40mi range with 300lb rider (on urethane inserts, 15mph average speed)
  • 38mph top speed
  • Riptide bushings
  • Rosita trucks that are sex on wheels (ask someone who has rode them)

Sold with no warranties, guarantees, or returns. If you want a warranty, go buy an endurance

Disclosure

The Tabor drivetrain as it comes stock has a known issue with the mounts over-tensioning the belts while riding, leading to high rolling resistance and (in rare cases) motor damage. I addressed this on my board in three ways:

  • First, I removed the handle/bash guard. The steel bash guard adds a lot of weight off the ends of the motor mounts, which seems to pull them downwards while riding. Not to mention that whenever you lift the board with that handle, you’re yanking on the motor mounts. I replaced this with a handle that’s integrated into the truck riser, so the board still has a comfy handle.
  • Second, I made custom steel plates which replace the mount tension washers, allowing you to torque down on the mount bolts very hard without damaging the mounts. Really going ape-shit on these bolts is crucial to locking the mounts in place.
  • Third, I removed the auto-tensioning springs so that I can set the mount tension fairly loose. I find that I dont need the mounts super tight to avoid belt skip, and if I lock the mounts down pretty loose, then if they do tighten up a bit while riding they wont be over-tensioning the belts.

This is how it’s currently sitting, with silver CNC wheels and the truck-riser handle.

(Minnie+GPS not included, standard BLE module included)

Bell Qualifier Helmet - $̶5̶0̶ $40

Size medium, but look up a Bell sizing guide. This fits me just as well as my XL TSG Pass, so :man_shrugging:

Basic motorcycle helmet, great protection for high speeds. Pretty scratched up from grip tape and whatnot, but no crashes or cracks. I applied some black retroreflective tape to improve the visibility of the helmet when riding at night. Works great. Not stinky or gross.

Flipsky 6384 190kv motor - $̶9̶0̶ $75

Brand new in box. Zoobomb motor, so it’s got upgraded bearings (rubber sealed), upgraded bullets (genuine Amass 4mm bullets), slightly longer phase and sensor wires, and a motor shaft that matches the Apex motors (including the circlip groove). So it’s drop-in compatible with jump drives. Comes with female bullets and motor key.

OG Robogotchi w/GPS #2 - $̶2̶0̶ $10

Used, some issues, priced accordingly. As far as I know, the OG Robogotchi’s are still usable. I dont think they ever got updated to work with VESC FW6 and above, but if you’re still using FW5.3 or before (as god intended) then I think these should work.

This unit came out of my build because it stopped letting me download log files off it. It would just hang on the syncing screan for like 20min until the app crashed, no matter how many times I tried. No clue if its possible to reset it and get it working again. Still works as a bluetooth module, and works with the Freesk8 app to program the VESC and whatnot.

Please dont ask me for setup or troubleshooting instructions for Freesk8 gear.

BN220 GPS units - $̶2̶0̶ $15

Brand new. Price is for both.

Metr Pro Unity - $̶4̶0̶ $30

Unknown condition. Price is for both.

21700 Cell Frames - $̶1̶0̶ $5

Brand new. Modular cell frames, in 2cell and 3cell segments that snap together into whatever shape you want. Pretty loose fit on P42A’s, so I dont know how useful they will be for a structural pack. Price is for all pieces, enough for 200 cells.

Free with the purchase of anything else.

All HTD 5M belts, 15mm wide. If you want a bunch, send me a list and make an offer.

  • 2pcs 310
  • 6pcs 340 (these are 18mm wide)
