V1 started with these same LiPos, then I built the Headway packs which couldn’t supply the current I needed, and now back to the LiPos until I have saved enough money to build a replacement Li-Ion battery pack.

If I wanted to try LiFePO4 again, I’d need to go with the Headway 38120HP cells. All things considered though, for long range capability and my safety requirements, going Li-Ion with cell level fusing is the only way.

Yeah, using the Headway 40152S cells right now, but if I had to start from scratch I’d go for the Headway 38120HP’s and just double the cell count to make up for the capacity loss.

So sounds like current wasn’t high enough with these cells in 1P.

Looking at his Metr pro data with that battery pack, and comparing it with mine for how I ride, I think there’s only a couple edge cases than I’m pulling more current than it looks like his pack wants to give.

But its hard to say “Good enough” isn’t it?
