Hi from May Policy targeting electric scooters in UK since i live in London i can only tell for this town
My neighbor is MET and processing traffic offences and told me to be careful as only for last week they seized 300 scooters and noticed skateboards coming recently as well
I would recommend to say away for a while. Gov trial for rental ends in August but they can extend.
It is all politics they have no idea how to accommodate new mean of transport for many of us
