Pneumatic Wheel Compendium (Serious)

There is no free lunch.
Comfort requires battery cost / complexity of a dual battery setup.
Middle ground (soft thane like cloudwheels) is average at all things and great at none. And @zZoKo already has pneumys on the way
Economy is not comfortable or durable or fun at all.
Hmmm

Trust me I know, I’ve scratched my head a lot to finish my build and what I can tell you is that you’re better off spending the money, than looking for ways to cheap out .

Lmao just like the economy in airplanes!

Be wary of compromise.

They don’t exist yet, but ill be running infinity hubs via kegel adapter on my M1 with 6" tires. Hopefully soon

when u inflate a tire how do you guess the psi tho

Most bike pumps (even the mini handheld ones) have a pressure gauge built in, no guessing required.

i aint that rich

Go to a gas station and pay $0.50 to use their air compressor, they have to have a pressure gauge.

My $5 pump from Aldi had a gauge on it. If you can’t spend $5 to ensure your tires are properly inflated I wouldn’t go with pneumatics. They need frequent topping up since they hold so little air.

i wonder what my internal pressure is

Dual 6384. Not sure if 170 or 190. I think 170. Top speed is not my priority.

If top speed its not a priority, and youre going to use pneumatics i would go for 140kv if possible, as (at least in my case), i have sacrificed a lot of torque (and braking) for top speed that i dont really need.

With m1´s Tb6380 170kv motors and bergs (145mm) im getting like 64 kmh… That is at least for me an absurdly high top speed that i cant even reach as i cant brake safely in almost no street at that speed and your wheels need to be perfectly balanced so there arent vibrations.

With 140 kv you would be looking at a better torque and 55kmh top speed (on 12 s) (on bergs)

Looks like Flipsky made Rockstar Pro hub clones.

Curiously, “Axle diameter” is simultaneously 10mm and 1/2" at the same time.

Definitely have some quality engineering talent behind this product, if they don’t even know what the intended axle diameter is. Last I checked, 1/2" and 10mm are not similar.

It’s chinese retailer tradition to list conflicting information on their products.

I’m short of 8" (200mm) tubes but I have a few spare 7" (175mm) tubes. Is it ok to use 7" tubes in 8" tyres? Or is it risky?

will these work for mbs rock star II? I am trying to find a suitable alternative to the mbs T3 tires since they are gonna be out of stock for a while.
