Im just going to say i will never buy another flipsky anything… three flipsky vesc and and something happens to one of the duals. My bluetooth module was working fine then it didnt so i cant afford another one for months and i just want to ride so bad. I just need a vesc that will work. I dont care if its only 5amp at this point. Im at my wits end.
Where are you located?
I have flipsky dual 4.2 laying around.
Sikeston missouri.
I’ve heard that Rafael is in Missouri
Is this real life?
are you sure?
Tbf, the last time I saw him, he was at my house
I know its not your fault it worked when i hooked it up a ran detection just when i went to ride it popped the bluetooth was hot and doesnt work and the green light on one side not working now. Im waiting on a computer now. Hopefully the vesc isnt bricked or fried.
I have an old flipsky that’s just missing green on one side. Is it the small 6.6/6.7 dual plus one? I might buy a half dead one from you and fit them side by side in the front.
Maybe natural selection will reveal a healthy flipshit.
Its just the dual 6.6 notthe plus. No on off button.
Is that the only difference? Should be fine, I wonder what the issue is when the one green light off. I checked and the 5v circuit on that side had continuity as if there was a short and none on the working side but a fully working identical esc had exactly the same results, I think the reading was from the switch circuit.
“Hello, I purchased from a company that’s widely criticized for poor product quality and safety issues. I regret my decision, please give me a $200+ part for free, but it cannot be flipsky or some peasant model. Thank you.”
he couldve avoided all of that if he just bought a makerx
Ironically, I do have a Flipsky dual I’d be willing to donate to you. I got it as a backup for a board that never needed it. You’re welcome to have it if you DM the shipping address. No charge for the shipping.

If you got a half dead dual 6.xx type vesc/fesc/wheveresc, especially if it popped instantly, likely only half is dead.
Pick the most alive side and make a dedicated test ESC.
If it’s a flipsky 6.6, or other 6 hardware, you can use it fix firmware flashing issues.
Pretty practical uses include: forgot or don’t know KV of motors, is this motor fried or sensors or the original esc? Troll uptight OEMs, spin special gear with outlaw esc and post on socials.
The 6 and higher hardware is also a an easy way to reprogram and correct any/most vescs that lose/corrupt formware.
My qc sticker was defective, I feel you.
